- ➤ A new report from The Partnership for Strong Communities says Connecticut faces a housing shortage of 120,000-380,000 units due to rising homelessness and low renter wages. Gov. Ned Lamont will speak at a housing conference today in Hartford as he promotes six new laws easing the crisis. WFSB
