- ➤ Westport Book Shop, a nonprofit partnering with the library, celebrates its 5th anniversary with raffle tickets and merchandise available until Wed, Jan. 28 to support its work with adults with disabilities—raising funds for the library. - ➤ Emergency experts advise residents to insulate pipes and use safe methods—like a blow dryer or heated towels—to thaw frozen pipes amid a cold snap. This follows Tuesday’s incident in New Milford that displaced three residents after an unsafe thawing attempt. CTPost
