  • Homes with Hope, a Westport-based agency, set a record last year by serving 2,195 families and individuals through services such as emergency shelter and food pantry (serving nearly 3,200 people), housing support and youth programs.   • Staples Players now share a 10-minute highlight of their spring 2002 production of Stephen Sondheim's 'Into the Woods' — part of the 06880 feature series of past shows. Retired media instructor Jim Honeycutt compiled the clip from decades of productions led by director David Roth.  06880

  • A petition to delay the replacement of the historic Cribari Bridge is nearing 1,000 signatures as resident Werner Liepolt urges officials to include community input and review CTDOT’s plans. Organizers call for federal oversight so all preservation alternatives are evaluated.  06880

  • Local photographer Dave Matlow revisits his 'Homes of 06880: Then and Now' series by capturing new photos of replacement homes from the same angles used in previous eras. His work documents Westport’s evolving residential architecture from earlier periods to February today and will be featured regularly.  06880

  • Former US Youth Soccer CEO Skip Gilbert, now a Weston resident, watched the Winter Olympics and suggested youth sports focus on multi-sport training for kids under 12 so they can have fun and learn the game + citing gold medal hockey wins and Norway’s model as examples.  06880
