- ➤ Superintendent Scarice revised the Staples calendar after four snow days, setting student dismissal to June 23 and warning spring break from April 13 may shorten with more closures. - ➤ The Westport Transit District today launched a Wheels2U '10-for-9' pass offering ten rides for $18 (available through Apr. 30) that gives riders a cost-effective alternative to daily parking and door-to-platform convenience. Westport Journal
- ➤ Lawmakers are holding a public hearing today at 1 p.m. at the state Capitol to debate a bill that would require school districts to notify the state within two days when a child is withdrawn, following two homeschooling neglect cases + aiming to boost accountability. WFSB
