- ➤ Lauren Tarshis visited Westport Library to sign books and lead trivia for a benefit, while basketball standout Caroline Lau finished her Big 10 season with high scores and assists in a Northwestern game — a winter photo also captured resilient birds at Compo Beach. 06880
- ➤ Crews are cleaning Longshore Golf Course from winter debris and goose droppings as it prepares to open with new GPS-guided carts, rebuilt tee boxes, and a new concession vendor. The course will launch late March or early April (with an online reservation system now in place) to improve service. Westport Journal

- ➤ The Foo Fighters will perform in Bridgeport on Tuesday, Apr. 28 at Total Mortgage Arena as part of Take Cover Tour 2026. This event marks the band's first Connecticut appearance since fall 2025 and follows closely on the upcoming release of their album Your Favorite Toy. WFSB
