- ➤ Corky Laing, Mountain's legendary drummer, is set to perform with Ten $ Grand at Westport VFW Post 399 on Riverside Avenue on April 11 at 7 p.m.—the intimate event offers table seating, a cash bar, and a view of the Saugatuck River. Westport Journal

- ➤ Connecticut lawmakers have advanced a revised bill that bans balloon releases to the Senate floor after testimony from balloon business owners — if passed, it will take effect in 2028. WFSB
