- ➤ Bill Shakos launched a new podcast called What Do I Know—an interview series sharing local stories—as part of the Westport Library Verso Studios Community Partnerships project. The podcast debuted Monday with three twenty-minute episodes covering his reflections on turning 50, a conversation on race with Richard Anderson, and a discussion on local government with David Rosenwaks while new episodes will be released every other week. 06880
- ➤ The Board of Finance approved the Board of Education’s $150.4 million budget and most of the proposed $87.2 million town budget with cuts to transit and Earthplace funding while planning to review restoration requests on April 2—Volunteers are needed for the Compo Beach playground rebuild from April 21–26, the Longshore golf course opens tomorrow, and Fetch Rescue will host a puppy adoption event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 06880

Lewis Academy will host its spring party on May 3, 6 p.m. at 500 State Street in Bridgeport— the event will feature student sustainability projects and a tour of the new STEAM room as the school prepares to graduate its first middle school class. - ➤ Staples High School will hold its graduation soon where valedictorian Abe Lobsenz and salutatorian Mattie Guadarrama will speak—Lobsenz set state power lifting records while Guadarrama excelled in music and debate, earning top honors in the Class of 2025. 06880
