  • Westport community updates include several upcoming events—The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on The Hamlet at Saugatuck on March 31 and StartUp Westport will host a free networking event on April 3. Other events include TOPSoccer sessions for children with disabilities starting April 26 at Morehouse Farm Park, a corrected puppy adoption event at Earth Animal on March 30, a Revolutionary Era art talk at Keeler Tavern Museum on April 6 — Westport Police arrested a 60-year-old man for attempted identity theft between March 19 and 26.  06880

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On March 27th, Westport and Fairfield firefighters responded to a pickup truck rollover on I-95 near Exit 19 when the vehicle ended up partially under a tractor-trailer; AMR used a rope capture system to pull the two injured occupants from a 50-foot marsh area—both were taken to a nearby hospital with major injuries.  News 12 Connecticut
