  • Kathleen Featherston, a Westport Y member, published The Little Parkinson’s Book of Positivity and Joy after her 2021 diagnosis.   • The Staples boys tennis team aims to avenge last season’s loss as it bolsters its lineup with seven new players ahead of today’s 4 p.m. opener against New Canaan and prepares to face Greenwich on April 16 — a match they hope will secure a return to both the FCIAC and state championships.  Westport Journal
  • Staples girls tennis will launch its season against New Canaan at 4 p.m. today — coming off a second-place finish in the state in 2025, the team has over 50 hopefuls and strong depth for a competitive run.  Westport Journal
  • Staples girls golf will tee off Tuesday, Apr. 7 at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien at 3 p.m. The team, which has five returning varsity starters including seniors Katelynn Mitchell and Riley Sklar plus a record 32 JV players, faces 16 matches in the FCIAC.  Westport Journal
  • The Staples boys lacrosse team (the defending Class LL state champions) will face state champions from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York as it prepares for postseason play. Their season opens with a home game against Horace Greeley on Thursday, Apr. 9 at 5:30 p.m.  Westport Journal
