Good morning, Westport.

Today, Westport news covers a police investigation at Savvy Smoker where Chief Foti Koskinas will meet with town leaders after repeated violations, and local civic leaders received Eid al-Fitr gifts from the Ismaili community on the start of Passover—while the town also marks the 100th anniversary of The Great Gatsby with local ties to its literary heritage. Additional updates include a new book release by a renowned English professor, sports and voter registration milestones by local alumni, and an upcoming fundraiser at Earthplace, painting a busy picture for our community.

Westport's online art gallery invites local readers to submit work in any medium, with examples such as watercolors, oils, and digital pieces.

The exhibit shows selected art for free viewing and asks artists to email their submissions for review.
