- ➤ After a disruptive Zoom-bombing, Westport officials planned an in-person Planning & Zoning Commission meeting for the Hamlet project on April 28; a Long Lots Elementary School update and a Transit Committee meeting were held on April 22 to review school and transportation budgets. The Westport Police Department will host an e-bike safety forum on May 13, free tree saplings will be given out on April 25, and a correction confirmed that the Max Harper memorial is at South Beach near Ned Dimes Marina—bringing key details to local residents. 06880
- ➤ Police in Westport say drivers and residents near Compo Beach should expect heavy foot traffic on Sunday, April 27, when the annual Minute Man Race hosted by the Westport Young Woman’s League takes place.
