Good morning, Westport. Here's your local news at a glance for Monday, the 5th of May.

  • Dylan Robbin, a Staples High School freshman in Westport, researched his family's Holocaust history for his bar mitzvah project—his great-grandfather treated patients on Oskar Schindler’s list—to share the true impact of Nazi atrocities. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • American kestrels have been arriving in Connecticut’s fields and forests in early spring, yet their numbers have fallen sharply with counts dropping from 614 in 2023 to 369 in 2024.
