- ➤ Westport community gardeners are proposing to relocate the gardens to a sunny, flat area at Burr Farms Field after losing their Long Lots space because of new school plans on Hyde Lane—committee leaders now await a meeting with Parks and Recreation for further discussion. Westport Journal
- ➤ Ted Horowitz shared a collection of photos from Memorial Day weekend that show marchers, parade-goers and veterans in our community. The images remind us of those who gave their lives to let us be here today (all photos are credited to Ted Horowitz). 06880
- ➤ Organizers of Westport Library’s Big Spring Book Sale thanked donors, volunteers and patrons for a very successful indoor event—one that saw tens of thousands of donated books and raised over $200,000 for the library—and noted that the funds support job training and employment for adults with disabilities.
