- ➤ The Swag Lab, a Westport branding business, will donate wristbands for emergency contact info at the July 2 fireworks event in partnership with Westport PAL. Parents can get them free at the Police station starting June 1 and at the Parks & Recreation office beginning June 3. 06880
- ➤ Community members rescued a snapping turtle injured in a hit and run on Weston Road last week and took it to VEG ER for Pets in Cos Cob for treatment; staff said the animal’s organs remain intact (optimistic of a full recovery) as they exchanged numbers to receive updates. 06880
