Good morning, Westport.

Connecticut's strawberry season has begun and the Department of Agriculture advises residents to pick only fully red strawberries for the best flavor.

They also recommend gently twisting or pinching the stem to avoid damaging the plant and suggest visiting local farms early since the season is short.
