  • Connecticut-grown strawberries are arriving at local farms & farmstands and pick-your-own fields will open soon, the Connecticut Department of Agriculture said. Residents are urged to check farm websites or call ahead for conditions and reservations.  WFSB

  • Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napoletana opened Monday at 11 a.m. on Post Road in Westport, taking over the old John's Best location. A ribbon cutting was held Monday at 10:30 a.m. and a soft opening for friends and family took place Friday.  News 12 Connecticut

EDUCATION NEWS

  • State educational data from the Educational Opportunity Project shows test scores in high-income districts such as Westport score above national averages while scores in lower-income districts like Hartford and New Haven fall up to five grade levels below average — underscoring the impact of socioeconomic factors.  The Hour
