- ➤ Former Staples High School boys soccer coach Russell Oost-Lievense filed a complaint with the state Freedom of Information Commission after the Board of Education held a closed session over his nonrenewal, and Westport’s delegation met constituents last night at 6 p.m. in the Library’s Komansky Room for an End of Session Town Hall. Today the Levitt Pavilion hosts a free Pride Edition Comedy Night at 7 p.m. + on Thursday the Westport Museum for History and Culture holds a guided Juneteenth walking tour at 10 a.m., the Farmers’ Market returns to Imperial Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Adam Friedman won the Connecticut Amateur Golf Championship while photographer Jeffrey Cohen captured a local scene. 06880

- ➤ The Westport Representative Town Meeting approved $103M for a new Long Lots Elementary School to be built next to the old building on Hyde Lane—this facility will also house Stepping Stones Preschool and is set for completion by fall. The project replaces an aging structure, and plans call for moving classes to the new 128,000 square foot building when it is ready. CTPost
