- ➤ On Saturday, about 1,500 to 2,000 people gathered at the Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Memorial bridge for the No Kings protest, part of a national rally that drew over five million demonstrators in more than 2,000 cities—Westport police set up barriers and deployed patrol cars to secure the area and manage traffic along Post Rd. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Developers for the Hamlet project said they will submit an alternative 8-30g affordable housing application in Saugatuck if the current proposal is denied & plan to complete the application soon. They noted the new plan is more financially viable and quicker to build, with a 65-day review period starting once the application closes. Westport Journal
