GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The plan to build a new emergency services facility on Greens Farms Road may be delayed because the site is an archaeological preserve containing artifacts from the old West Parish Meeting House burned in 1779—experts plan to complete a four-month survey to map the area before any decision is made. This delay could also affect plans to add more downtown parking by relocating the police station. Westport Journal
