- ➤ HeatSmart Westport offers residents an HES audit at a low cost to help lower their electric bills and boost home energy efficiency. The audit—valued at $800—costs $75 or is free for income-eligible households or those who sign up by Aug. 31 and schedule an appointment through October. Westport Journal

- ➤ Downtown Westport will limit on-street parking to two hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Monday, replacing the three-hour rule; town leaders made the change after a board vote and parking study—affecting 115 parking spaces and adding extra parking in nearby lots. CTPost
