  • On Thursday, Governor Lamont signed a law that forces gun makers, dealers and sellers to add safeguards so guns do not sell to the wrong people, and Connecticut will have a tax-free week on clothes and shoes from August 17 to 23. Westport will host a triathlon on September 7 while the fire department fought a brush fire on I-95 and will promote four firefighters on August 26.  06880
