Good morning, Westport.

Westport community news covers many events — the Tedeschi Trucks Band will perform at the Levitt Pavilion on September 14 with a cocktail party at 5 p.m., and the new Dandelion restaurant at the Delamar Hotel will hold its pre-opening celebration on September 6 to benefit Westport Volunteer EMS. Other highlights include Beth Cody’s 25 years with Little League, Fairfield’s U-12 team playing today at 3:30 p.m. on ABC, local sports contests and art projects, and safe beach tests with sunny weather ahead of Tuesday’s first day of school.

Local cybersecurity expert Paul Pioselli of Solace – Truly Personal Cybersecurity warns that Westport residents are facing a surge in scams—fake police calls and urgent texts tricking unsuspecting locals—and he advises residents to verify any unexpected contact while his firm offers emergency cyber response and security audits.
