  • Pratt and Whitney was awarded a $2.9 billion contract modification to produce 141 F135 engines for F-35 jets and is set to complete the work by February.   • Today, Westport Public Schools opened the school year after a convocation yesterday that honored 965 educators and staff with standing ovations for bus drivers and Teacher of the Year nominee Dr. Dan Cortwright—Superintendent Scarice urged staff to use AI to lift teacher workloads and re-humanize education.
