- ➤ Dandelion, a contemporary restaurant with Mediterranean influence from GHG Restaurant Group, is set to open inside Delamar Westport later this month—corporate chef Frederic Kieffer will lead a kitchen that creates dishes with bright herbs and bold spices in intimate seating spaces. - ➤ The first human case of West Nile Virus in Connecticut was confirmed in Fairfield County. A male resident (aged 40-49) became ill in August and was hospitalized before he recovered, and officials warn that mosquito activity will continue through October. WFSB
