- ➤ Jo Fuchs Luscombe, a dedicated public servant who served five terms in the state House and was Westport’s 3rd selectwoman, died last weekend at age 91. She was known for her work with local schools, community organizations, and historic projects such as the restoration of Wheeler House—leaving a lasting legacy in Westport. 06880

- ➤ Sarah Jessica Parker drew a sold-out crowd at Westport Library for the 'Booked for the Evening' fundraiser last night—attendees enjoyed cocktails, music, and a video tribute while Parker received a plaque, a personalized library card, and a crossword puzzle gift. She shared her memories of the library and her film career in an interview with former library director Maxine Bleiweis. 06880
- ➤ A recent photo shows Connecticut’s 9/11 Memorial at Sherwood Island State Park where the twin towers were once visible from the shore – the memorial, dedicated in September 2002 with 153 additional names added in 2003, faces Long Island Sound to mark the loss of many lives on September 11. 06880
