- ➤ At Westport Library yesterday, StartUp Westport honored Mark Shapiro as Innovator of the Year and Bill and Andrea Pecoriello as Community Impact Innovator with awards that spotlight their leadership and community service—Shapiro, president of TKO Group Holdings, spoke about learning from mistakes while the Pecoriellos explained how Sweet P Bakery has grown since 2019 to train adults with disabilities. 06880

- ➤ A fourth home was added to the third annual Historic Homes of 06880 tour scheduled for Sunday, November 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 221 Greens Farms Road — built in 1904 by Frederick Bedford, this Colonial Revival home will offer visitors a close look at Westport’s history as part of a ticketed event sponsored by KMS Team at Compass. 06880
- ➤ TV show creator Shonda Rhimes praised living in Connecticut during her guest appearance on Call Her Daddy and recalled crying in a Costco parking lot after joining as a member—she said the local vibe feels much different than in Los Angeles.
