- ➤ Actor Ryan Reynolds visited Staples High School in Westport on Oct. 20 to attend a dress rehearsal of 'Les Misérables' performed by the student group Staples Players—he took photos and shared his career insights to encourage the students. - ➤ Saugatuck Rowing Club celebrates its 25th anniversary with a strong local tradition that began when Howard Winklevoss built a new boathouse for youth rowing after the twins discovered the sport in 1996—today the club trains over 400 athletes including 150 adults and more than 250 juniors who compete in national events. - ➤ Professional Bull Riders will bring the Unleash The Beast bull riding tour to Bridgeport next year at Total Mortgage Arena on Feb. 27 and 28.
