  • The Westport Downtown Association is gifting a new black clock with gold trim for dedication at Main and Elm during the Holiday Stroll on December 6 while Human Services monitors SNAP aid as a potential federal shutdown may delay November benefits and early voting continues at Town Hall. A screening of an ESPN documentary featuring Jim Abbott took place at the Library, Staples sports teams have championship games ahead, and local updates include a Deadheads concert, a Halloween window painting contest, a new exhibit at the Weston History & Culture Center, a $5,000 grant to MoCA CT, and the passing of local jazz guitarist J. REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Westport home sales in 2025 show that 33.4% of the 243 sold homes were built between 1950 and 1970 while only 18.6% were built in 2010 or later. The 3rd annual Historic Homes of 06880 tour on November 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. features 4 restored homes built between 1870 and 1938 & shows how old homes are updated for modern use.  06880
