- ➤ Westport’s 5th annual Holiday Stroll will take place on December 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. on Main Street with family-friendly activities and local merchant promotions—more than 50 vendors offering deals and fun for all ages. Meanwhile, Homes with Hope provided Thanksgiving meals to over 2,500 residents, high school volunteers managed sold-out ticket sales for a local production of Les Mis, and Wheels2U will offer rides on Wednesday and Friday to help community members get to and from the train station. 06880

- ➤ Eversource Energy officials announced plans to seek a $64 million water rate increase for Aquarion customers next year & Attorney General William Tong said he would review the request to ensure that families do not pay extra. - ➤ The Connecticut Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism is hosting a giveaway to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Connecticut Christmas Movie Trail. The contest runs from Nov. 24 through Dec. 22 and the prize includes a one-night stay at Captain's Mansion in Mystic + a $100 dining card to Friar Tuck's Tavern, while fans enter by posting photos or videos with #CTChristmasMovieTrail on social media.
