- ➤ State officials said Connecticut’s bear problem worsened after the House passed a bill to study the issue, but the Senate did not vote before the session ended Wednesday. - ➤ Town officials are planning meetings to discuss the Hamlet development and Long Lots School funding, with the Planning and Zoning Commission holding a public hearing on Hamlet and voting on a new report for Long Lots School from Monday, June 9 to Thursday, June 12.
