- ➤ The DOT will remove trees and build a 10-foot berm along West Parish Road to upgrade the area—while Westport Library’s Verso Studios won four Telly Awards, cooling centers opened in response to an extreme heat warning, and local venues continue hosting cultural events. 06880
- ➤ The Parks and Recreation department installed cameras at Longshore Club Park to record vehicle details and monitor activity after a break-in at the golf pro shop last year, said Operations Director Carman Roda—cameras are also set up at the pavilion, tennis courts, pool area, marina, maintenance building, and office to ensure patron safety.
